Cookbook Review Patricia Heaton’s Food For Family And Friends
This incredibly beautiful, full-color cookbook collection of 100 amazing simple recipes specifically for meals and gatherings that will be unforgettable by the unforgettable star herself, Patricia Heaton, is a sure-fire winner. I loved this cookbook. It’s just the cookbook for the mom with a busy family and at that, a busy family that loves to eat amazing food.
She is the famous and beloved star of the ABC sitcom The Middle and Food Network’s Patricia Heaton Parties. This just creates an air of familiarity which not only makes this cookbook one you can trust but also makes you feel like a friend is there with you while preparing these delicious and filling meals for your loved ones. I mean you just got to love her and in real life, she’s that much more amazing. She raises four boys with her charming down-home style managing all of their schedules and needs all while keeping up with her busy Hollywood schedule. That puts her down in the trenches with us. And she cooks just like that.
Patricia Heaton is obviously extremely comfortable playing “America’s mom” on hit television shows like Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle due to the fact that she is a busy working mother raising four boys. Though she may be a Hollywood star today, this down to earth, practical Midwesterner likes to have fun entertaining her loved ones and has never forgotten her roots.
She likes to prepare home cooked dinners like rib-filling basics like me such as meatloaf, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken, pork chops, burgers, fish sticks, and pot roast. Her mom apparently let her dream big citing culinary genius Julia Child which fed her her love for delicious, sophisticated, lightened versions of meals which she loves to prepare for her family and friends.
In this cookbook, she shares her budget friendly, simple, yet deeply satisfying recipes with some being on the healthier side but all being the dishes she was served as a youngster and those which she serves her youngsters.
